I'm glad this caught your attention. We're at the tail end of editing the book on coworking and put this out to catalyze our thinking about the situation businesses face in the current economy, but we didn't call much attention to it. We know we can expect layoffs--that's the knee-jerk reaction. But we also expect some businesses to look beyond immediate treatment for the bottom line, and to position themselves for the future. If I were a recent graduate, I'd be very interested in the decisions employers are making right now, in response to this stress. -Todd Sundsted
