Coworking in Austin: LINK Coworking opens in October

If you've been following this blog or you saw my SXSWi2010 panel, you may remember Liz Elam's project Link Coworking. Liz has been looking for the right spot, under the right conditions, for opening her coworking space. And now she reports that she has found it:

It’s official! I have signed a lease at the Village Shopping Center (Anderson Lane – Home of Cover 3, Alamo, Body Business, Madam Mam’s, Chipotle etc. etc.). Link Coworking will open in the September timeframe with a grand opening bash in October.

The Village Shopping Center is a great space: on the north side of Anderson between Mopac and Burnet, within walking space of great restaurants, a gym, a sports bar, a movie theater, and etc. It's nicely located in north Austin. In fact, it's not too far from Cospace, which is on the east end of Anderson.

Liz says Link Coworking will open in mid-October. Congratulations to Liz, and I'm really looking forward to seeing the doors finally open!
