Five publishing opportunities re writing and technology

Many of you are probably wondering: after I submit a paper on computers and writing for SIGDOC, what next? How can I develop those ideas into a journal article?

There are at least four special issues in related areas:

• JBTC Special Issue on Social Software in Professional Communication . I'm editing this.
• C&C special issue on Composition in the Freeware Age: Assessing the Impact and Value of the Web 2.0 Movement for the Teaching of Writing . Guest-edited by Randall McClure, Michael Day and Mike Palmquist.
• Computers and Composition Online:. Composition in the Freeware Age: Using Web 2.0 Applications in the Teaching of Writing . Guest-edited by Randall McClure, Michael Day and Mike Palmquist.
• Across the Disciplines: Rewriting Across the Curriculum: Writing Fellows as Agents of Change in WAC. Guest-edited by Brad Hughes and Emily B. Hall.

With those opportunities for publishing on writing and technology, you have a pretty good shot at publication. So submit something!
